I had (but misplaced) this post card. I visited in February 1962, when the river was frozen and the falls were only partially visible due to the water vapor rising. A beautiful sight! It was the Seagram Tower back then and pretty much stood alone on the horizon.

I have an original water color of the cottage in the upper right hand corner. I purchased it on Bayswater Road in London in 1976. It was done by a Russian painter. His first name begins with A and his last name begins Jaw… I am trying to locate the artists full name and more information about the cottage. I would appreciate any assistance

I grew up in Wellington, KS, and the fields surrounding town were always planted with wheat, alfalfa, or sunflowers. What part of the state are you in?

What a lovely site! I stumbled here while looking for pictures of vintage Kansas postcards. I grew up in a small farming town that was surrounded by wheat fields and sunflower fields.

One can never have too many hugs or kisses. Think of a world where everyone is giving hugs then we might have a lot less people wanting to go to war.

I like the view and it looks like a nice place to someday visit.
