Wild Postcards

An interesting feature of this card is that the image on the front is off-center. Prior to 1907, when it was illegal to write anything but the destination address on the back of the card, publishers often left white space on the front to allow a message to be written. This card was sent to me by my friend Sue Eagan, from one of her many jaunts across Europe. It made it from Prague, Czech Republic to Fort Lauderdale, Florida, USA relatively unscathed. Plus, it has a really cool stamp attached.
